The Sakal Relief Fund has been raising funds and extending financial assistance during natural
calamities in India since 1943. Sakal Relief Fund is one of the largest donors in India.
Objective
- To render help to citizens and/or animals from the drought-affected areas in India. There are long terms schemes for drinking water, improvement in the quality of drinking water, to construct, repairs and maintain reservoir, borewell, irrigation scheme, dam and bank, waterline, canals, and other water reservoirs.
- To render help to the Indian social elements who have become or who are probable to become addicts of drug or intoxicated substances. This help is either in a social, medical or in rehabilitation form.
- To render proper help to the parts of India having an inadequate medical facility for removing such insufficiency. Making provisions for long term schemes for providing drainage, lavatory, toilets, and drainage system.
