Who We Are
Partners & Participants
DCF is run by a diverse team which works closely with national and international partners. It hopes to address issues by combining the research-based planning expertise of the international community, with knowledge of ground-level issues through grassroots networks, the government’s experience in implementation, and the business and technical know-how of the private sector.
PEMANDU (Performance Management & Delivery Unit) Prime Minister’s Department, Government of Malaysia
PEMANDU was formally established in 2009 as a unit under the Prime Minister’s office with the objective of planning, implementing, assessing and facilitating the socio-economic transformation programme of Malaysia.
PEMANDU uses a process called Big Fast Results (BFR) to deliver socio-economic transformation programmes with high impact and quick results. In the last four years they have proven the efficacy of this methodology through the socio-economic growth that they have delivered not only in Malaysia but other countries like Tanzania and South Africa.
This process has received much global acclaim for its success in delivering results. DCF has a 50:50 Joint Venture with BFR Institute of Malaysia a 100% subsidiary of PEMANDU.
Clinton Global Initiative (CGI)
DCF is pleased to be a partner of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). It has this far developed 2 Commitments to Action.
A commitment to action, the defining feature of CGI, is the plan for addressing a significant global challenge. Commitments can be small or large, and financial or non-financial in nature. Many commitments are the result of cross-sector partnerships with CGI members and combining efforts to expand their impact. Till date, members have developed more than 2,300 Commitments to Action which have made a positive impact in over 400 million lives. All CGI members are asked to make a commitment by the end of the first year of membership. CGI supports the development of commitments by facilitating dialogue, providing opportunities to identify partners, showcasing actions taken by commitment-makers and communicating results. CGI serves as a catalyst for action, but does not engage in the actual implementation of its commitments.
